Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy applies to the Stashra website, iOS app, and browser share extension. It does not cover the retailers or other websites you visit from a saved product link.

Information Stashra collects

Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, Stashra receives an account identifier and any name or email address that provider makes available under your settings.

Saved products. Stashra stores the links you submit and the product details gathered from those pages, such as title, image, price, description, and source website.

Sharing choices. If you create a gift link, Stashra stores the optional list title and message, the items included, and the private link token needed to show that list.

Technical information. Stashra and its hosting providers process basic request and security information, such as IP address, device or browser type, timestamps, and error details, to operate and protect the service.

How Stashra uses it

Stashra uses this information to authenticate your account, build and display your stash, retrieve product details, keep gift links working when you enable them, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and improve reliability.

Stashra does not sell personal information and does not use your stash for third-party advertising.

When information is shared

Stashra shares information with service providers only when needed to run the service, including Apple and Google for sign-in and infrastructure providers for hosting and delivery. When Stashra retrieves product details, the retailer receives a request from Stashra's servers.

A gift list is available to anyone who has its private link only after you turn sharing on. It includes the product details and list information you choose, but not your account identity. You can replace or disable the link at any time.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect Stashra, its users, or the public.

Retention and deletion

Account and stash information is kept while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You can delete individual products and disable or replace gift links from Stashra. Deleted information may remain temporarily in routine backups until those backups are overwritten.

Use the support channel listed in TestFlight or the App Store to request account deletion or other privacy help.

Security

Stashra uses access controls, encrypted network connections, and limited-access authentication tokens to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so Stashra also limits the information it collects to what the product needs.

Children

Stashra is not directed to children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

This page will be updated when Stashra's data practices materially change. The date above shows when the current version took effect.
